gail-head-shot3Gail Friedlander, a urban studies/social sciences graduate from the University of Toronto and a teaching graduate from the University of Manchester is the founder and President of Images That Suit (ITS). Her fashion/image consulting locations are in Toronto and Mississauga. Before starting ITS in 1984, Gail spent nine years in staff recruiting, training & development and career counselling.

She has designed an office consulting space rather than a store, where each client room has the look and feel of a small living room, coined the phrase “showroom shopping” and through her consultants offers free wardrobe consultations. She believes Images That Suit’s strength lies in taking time to understand clients’ personal style in order to then assist them in creating the image and impact they desire.

Through Images That Suit, Gail offers seminars on how our personal image: the way we look act and speak, impacts our career success. Her team offers fashion shows and trend events for corporations and associations. Her fashion shows have raised many dollars on behalf of charitable causes.

Gail’s extracurricular activities have included teaching at Centennial College and at the International Academy of Design, coordinating fashion shows on behalf of charity, running, working out and spinning.

Gail is the 2010 recipient of the CAWEE (the Canadian Association of Women Executives and Entrepreneurs) Outstanding Business Woman of the Year Award.
